weblog survey

I've decided to simply email tables and the thesis to all interested parties, rather than post here. It is too difficult to get the results up on this weblog, plus I am not interested in publicly releasing the results at this time. If interested in obtaining either the raw data or the finished product, please email me at the address posted on this site.

The surveys are closed. Although perhaps not as thorough as I would've liked, time constraints of a masters thesis have forced me to go with what I have. Still, gathering data for a thesis is rare so I guess I should be happy with the fact that i "went the extra mile" so to speak.

Results will be posted here very soon.

Moreover, my final paper has been turned in and graded. I'm done. Finished with school (for now anyway).

I have a short list of respondents who requested the final product. Some tables based on survey response will be posted here, but anyone who would like to read the thesis must email me and tell me where they'd like it sent.

If you simply asked that I send you the paper but did not provide an email address, I apoligize but I am unable to.

So, check back soon for results and email me if you want the finished product (although i doubt anyone reads this).

For anyone who possibly comes here.....

The weblog survey is reaching its conclusion with a few new participants coming in from time to time. The data is still being sorted through but at initial glance appears to be quite encouraging. I am grateful and indebted to the gracious participation of the bloggers who've taken the time to fill out the survey. I will certainly share my findings with whomever expresses interest, but as of yet am unsure how much I will list through this weblog. I have a master list of those who have thus far requested results and should accommodate them by the end of the summer.

If you are here you probably were sent a link asking you to participate in my online survey. The nature of your participation is a short survey which takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Research inquiries are being conducted using a Yahoo account. Feel free to email me at this address: uchicagoblogsurvey@yahoo.com. If my identity is doubted I would be happy to supply my university webmail address to anyone who emails me expressing doubt.

I understand that some people are skeptical of this being SPAM, but I assure you that I am a simple graduate student trying to earn my dues by conducting original research.

I am more than happy to email both the survey results (sans any personal information to be kept confidential) and the finished paper to whomever expresses interest. (Disclaimer: final paper may not be very interesting, well-written, or worthy of the paper it will printed on).

In addition I will do my best to upload these results onto this weblog once they are completed.
